Gender Neutral Nursery

Hey friends! Okay so during my pregnancy when Ryan and I announced that we decided to keep the gender of our sweet babe a surprise, the number one question we received was regarding our nursery! Everyone wanted to know how we were going to design a room without knowing whether or not to get pink or blue decor. And to be totally honest, I don’t even think we saw this as an issue whatsoever (haha). When it comes to home decor, I’m generally a lover of more neutral tones anyways. I think even if I knew we were having a girl, I still wouldn’t have gone out and designed an overly girly or pink room for her.

Because we have moved so many times since being together, this was actually the first room we were able to design from start to finish. We have never really been able to shop for and put together a room in its entirety while living in one place and it was so stinking fun! During my pregnancy, Ryan and I had a blast picking everything out and building her furniture together. So, without further ado, I am super duper pumped to share my Gender Neutral Nursery with you guys today!

We decided to go with a classic jungle theme! Some animals, some greenery, and a touch of boho vibes. Most of the items in the room are pieces from Ikea and Amazon because if you know Ryan and me, you know we love to “Ball on a Budget” (haha). But although we stuck to a pretty modest budget, I think the room still came out great! So, let’s take a closer look, shall we?!
