Honeymoon Packing List

Cheers to the weekend! Ryan and I have been looking forward to this weekend for about a year now. Tomorrow we are leaving for our (very belated) honeymoon! YAY! Cue the clapping and confetti! In case you are new here, Ryan and I got married last June and didn’t have the time to take an extended honeymoon like we wanted to. Ryan was scheduled to start preseason just a few days after the wedding. So, we got married, spent a long weekend in Cape Cod, and then he flew back to Germany to start his season.

Meanwhile, we both knew that we wanted to go on a big honeymoon during the following off-season, so here we are! Originally, Ryan had planned our entire trip as a big surprise to me (aww). He spent months researching and booking everything by himself (so cute, I know) and had planned for us to leave together without me knowing a single thing. Well… after a glass of wine one night, he couldn’t hold it in any longer and he spilled the beans. Turns out, we are headed to Cancun, Mexico! In his defense, he did make it about 10 months before telling me anything, so I do have to give him some credit.

Since we are headed out super early tomorrow, today is reserved for packing, packing, and more packing. Now that I know where we are going, I have been able to get all of my beach stuff and resort wear together! Also, since I have had the past year of married life to gather all the cute honeymoon items I could possibly find, I now have quite the collection of “Mr. & Mrs.” items. Because just one “Mrs.” shirt is clearly not enough, right?!

So today I have gathered all of my top picks and compiled a Honeymoon Packing List. All of the cute Hubby and Wifey things you could ever want for your first trip as a married couple!
