Rituals Cosmetics | Is It Worth The Hype?

Happy Friday! If you know me at all, I’m sure you’re aware that by no means am I the “Queen of Beauty”. I generally don’t like to fuss over a ton of beauty products after I have found my few favorite brands. However, Ryan got me a ton of products from Rituals Cosmetics, and I quickly discovered some new favorite items! We have a Rituals store right here in the center of Leipzig and let me tell you, it’s ALWAYS crowded in there. Needless to say, I was super excited to try out some of these products and see what all the fuss is about. So today, I’m thrilled to be sharing a few of my top picks with you!

About Rituals Cosmetics

Rituals is unlike any other cosmetic company you are used to seeing on the shelves. Rituals is the first brand in the world to combine Home & Body cosmetics. They have a wide variety of products ranging from shower gel and perfumes to candles, tea, makeup, and even clothing! Their aim is to produce products that inspire the care of your home and your body. Inspired by natural ingredients and ancient Eastern beauty traditions, Rituals turns everyday events into something special.

The brand’s core belief is that happiness can be found in the smallest of things, which begins with feeling good about yourself and learning how to savor the joys of ordinary things. By taking the time to enjoy a cup of tea, a warm bath, or a relaxing massage, you can make any moment special and extraordinary. The passion of the brand comes from transforming everyday routines into meaningful rituals.

Well…this all sounds like a dream to me. What about you?!

Sakura Bed & Body Mist

The Flourishing Bed & Body Mist is something I reach for every day. Not only does it make for a yummy perfume, I typically like to spray it on my sheets while I am making the bed each morning. It works as a great linen refresher and leaves the whole room smelling clean and sweet. I typically don’t like overpowering scents for perfume, so this one is an excellent option for that as well. It has a subtle, yet very pleasing smell, and is perfect for that classic everyday use!

Sakura Body Cream

The Magic Touch Body Cream is smooth, thick, and overall, very luxurious! When using body creams and lotions, the two things I absolutely cannot stand are when you are left with a greasy film on your skin, or when it does not spread and absorb very easily. I am happy to report that this cream does neither! It spreads evenly, soaks up rather quickly, and leaves your skin feeling oh-so-good. I am totally obsessed with the cherry blossom scent too! It’s sweet, subtle, and lasts all day. Basically, a win-win-win here!

Sakura Sugar Body Scrub

Normally, I am not one to reach for a body scrub. However, the Sakura Body Scrub may have converted me into a long-term user! I use this body scrub about once a week while in the shower, but you could definitely use it more often if you think you are in need (or if you just like pampering yourself haha). I generally have sensitive skin but this scrub did not irritate me at all. It works great to exfoliate your skin, smells wonderful, and leaves your skin feeling silky-soft!

So, is it worth it?

I’m sure it’s pretty obvious by this point that I absolutely LOVE this brand! Each product feels luxurious and provides a wonderful relaxing experience. To be honest, this may be the beginning of ‘Kate: The Beauty Product Junkie’ haha. Overall, I would have to say that my favorite product is the Sakura Sugar Body Scrub. It turns my normal shower routine into a spa-like environment and let’s be honest, who doesn’t love that?! At the end of the day, I would definitely say that this brand deserves all the hype they’ve been getting!

So tell me, have you tried Rituals before? If you have, which collection is your favorite? With so many options to choose from, I’m not sure which one I should go for next! Anyways, I hope you all have a fabulous time partaking in whatever weekend ritual you have planned!
